Ways to lose weight in a week
If you need to lose weight, chances are that you want to do it quickly. You can’t do it in just a few days, because it’s too dangerous and you won’t have the patience to wait a few weeks until you achieve results. So the ideal time frame is a week, because this way you won’t put your health in danger, but you won’t run out of time and become frustrated either.
Just keep in mind that just because one of your friends managed to lose 2 pounds in 5 days doesn’t mean that you will also be able to do so, because we are all different, we all have different lifestyles, genes, weight and we all experience different levels of physical activity and stress.
Weight loss requires a healthier lifestyle, so if you truly want to shed fat, without gaining it all back you must change your eating habits permanently. But this is what most people have difficulty with, thanks to the extra time and money a new diet requires. In some cases, they simply lack the patience and determination needed in order to succeed.
So if you don’t trust yourself, but you really want that new figure you must hire a professional trainer or you can carry on with your weight loss plan under medical supervision. Either way, the goal is to have someone there to support you and keep you going when you feel like giving up.
Change your eating habits
If you are a stubborn person, who doesn’t like change, then weight loss will be very difficult for you and will only be possible under professional supervision. I’m telling you this, because the first thing you must do when trying to shed those extra pounds is change your eating habits. This means no more unhealthy foods, fast-foods or take-outs. You must decrease your calorie intake and increase the amount of calories you burn.
This is the only real way of losing weight. So make yourself eat healthy foods, like fruit, vegetables and whole grains, because they are low-calorie, which means that by exercising you will start burning that extra fat. And don’t think for a minute that healthy foods have no taste or nutritional value, because they do.
You don’t have to make big changes if you want to lose weight in a week, a 500 calorie decrease per day will do, because it will make you shed a pound of fat a week. It may not seem like much, but by losing such a small amount, you will increase your chances of never gaining it back. Or, as they say, slow and steady wins the race. By adding at least 45 minutes of walking on a daily basis you will lose weight much faster.
What I have coming up now are a few ideas for that 7-day weight loss. Start by buying boneless, skinless chicken breasts and a bag of protein powder. You can than have your breakfasts in the form of a protein shake with fruit. For the rest of the day have chicken breasts with vegetables like spinach, Brussels sprouts and broccoli on the side. However, there are a few things you need to stay clear of, stuff like garlic, salt, butter, no-salt seasoning mixes and herbs.
I know that you will find all of this difficult to accomplish because of your busy lifestyle, but if you want to look and feel better, you must do all of this, there’s no easy way to weight loss, especially in a week.
Perhaps the most important part of all is that you must not follow this diet for more than a week, because if you do, it might damage your health and nothing’s worth risking that. If you want to accomplish what you set out to do over this 7-day period, you must count calories, I know it will be time-consuming, but it has to be done and you must also keep a healthy eating habit.
You must also keep all of this in balance with your weight and activity level.
